Nanowrimo 2008

Wow, 2 blog posts in one day!

I know I said last year that I was going to do Nanowrimo (http://nanowrimo.org) and nothing really came of it.
This year I'm signed up and even have a plot outline and have started developing some characters. I hope to really work on the character development this weekend and do a rough outline of the book so that I can start gung ho into the actual writing next weekend...wow, is November here already???

Anyways, it's kind of a dark book, but here's my plot synopsis..almost like a back of the dust jacket blurb:

Immortal Cycle: Rogue Child

What would you do if you had no conscience, no fear, and no future? The child of a race hiding among us escapes the traditional culling of the herd to grow to adulthood. Being immortal and living outside the society and the rules that would normally keep him in check he runs amok of the law and himself. Growing restless with nothing to win and nothing to lose, he descends into the depths of depravity and begins a cat and mouse game with a brilliant young FBI agent. The fledgling crime fighter has no idea what he's up against until a shadowy figure from the past steps in to help.
