Weird Webcam Issues

Howdy,

Not like there's really a lot of people chomping at the bit, watching the varmints on the webcams or reading this blog even, but I thought I'd mention there's some really weird issues I have with my webcam.
It seems to have started either right after some power outages or right after Microsoft's latest emergency patch. I don't know that it's related to the emergency patch, but it may just be an odd coincidence.
The webcam normally FTP's up a picture from each camera once per minute. The problem seems to be that the computer that does that is having troubles making the ftp data connection. I don't seem to have that issue on any other computer and other than that flaw, the computer with the webcams seems to be running fine. I may have to investigate it further. Right now it just kind of locks up for a while, but then seems to sort of come out of it sometimes. I changed the webcam software to stay connected instead of continuously connecting and reconnecting and that seems to have helped a little.
Hopefully I can get it fixed 100% soon. Like to keep an eye on the critters in case they get into trouble :)
