Rusty Skills

Well, I managed to finally get out and fly. My currency had expired so I needed to do some dual with a flight instructor (and still need more).
We did some slow flight, some stalls and steep turns and though I was rusty, the rust was coming off fairly fast.
The rust really reared its ugly head when I went to make a landing. The field where my plane is at has a runway with a significant downslope. My approach was pretty sloppy and I over flared instead of gently riding down toward the slope. Something got inside my head to keep pulling back and we bounced pretty hard after the stall. With a significant amount of help, I somehow kept the plane from wrecking and did a go around. Guess it's been just a little too long since I've been flying.
The next landing attempt wasn't tons better, but it was okay and we called it a day after that.
The plane will go in for Annual next week and I won't get to do any more flying until after that.
