So I let Ephraim out and take care of his cage yesterday morning. It was right before I headed upstairs for a shower. Five or ten minutes later I come down to feed him and be on my way to Spokane for the morning and he's nowhere to be found. I heard a little shuffle when I first came down and after searching for him for a minute or so, I heard another one from the kitchen.

Well, it's been one week already of Ephraim's stay here and I think he's settling in nicely. I put some barriers up so that he can't hide under the kitchen table (there's lots of other great places to hide) and also so that my bunnies won't harass him on that side of the cage. Mostly now it's to keep my bunnies in an area where I can make sure they don't give him much grief, although I think it doesn't bother Ephraim at all.

Ephraim the fuzzy lop has arrived. You can view his webcam by selecting WebCAM 2 from the menu on the left. It seems like there is a snafu with refreshing, but hopefully that will fix itself or I can figure out what is going wrong.
Adam and I picked up Ephraim today from his first temporary quarters. They were moving to a new house, besides Ephraim should be happier with a few bunny friends to at least thump at once in a while :)

A friend from work was the unfortunate victim of an apartment fire early last week. He and his girlfriend had to jump from their second story window to escape with their lives. They also had a bunny, Ephraim that managed to escape harm along with them. Adam escaped unharmed, but Sara sustained some injuries during the jump and is undergoing some extensive rehabilitation. Given my 7 years experience with my fuzzy critters, I'm probably going to be taking care of Ephraim for the short to medium term while everyone gets situated.

Well, seeing as no one reads this any ways, an evil genius such as myself who would typically monologue once he has captured the super hero attempting to thwart his nefarious ways can now in this day and age Blog about his plans for supreme world domination as his means of ego management.
So here in its full glory is the first phase of my planned world domination:

A brand new (as of about 2 weeks ago) 2008 SMART Passion with all the options. Leather seats, Premium Sound, Fog lights, etc.

Okay, so I'm not like attention starved or really wanting comments....but I just wanted to know if someone...anyone is reading this. This is a week or so late, but I just wanted to mention that I managed to make it out flying in the crosswinds again and felt a lot more comfortable. There was a poor chap in the pattern up at Coeur d'Alene (KCOE) that sounded not all that comfortable with the radio. Probably a student from Felts or somewhere that has a tower so he wasn't used to self-announcing his position at a non-towered airport. Of course it's a bit the other way around for others.

Maybe it should be more like crosswinds make me cross or some such thing :(
I played hooky from work on Thursday long enough to put 0.7 on the plane. I just did some toodling around, site seeing, and a few steep turns. Probably shouldn't have stayed up late playing WoW the night before cause the plane and me just sort of felt off. I made another low approach on the short curvy runway and I really need to work on landing on that runway since the wind was prety much 90 degrees to the long runway and amounted to about 9-10 knots of crosswind

With all the snow of the past month or so, the Sun's been hiding quite a bit. It did manage to show its' face last week and I did a little plane maintenance, but I was still getting over the cold that's been going around everywhere so I didn't go fly.
Yesterday I managed to get a few chores done and still get out to the hangar to have an hour or so of flying time.

Okay this may be pedantic, but I thought I'd point out that Farmer McGregor refers to the tales of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter.
Not that anyone would confuse it with any fertilizer company that works around here, but just in case.
Oh and I know it should be Mr. McGregor's garden, but farmer/field makes it sound a little bigger :)
